Electric cars are not everyones cup of tea but its good to see a new brand emerging.
Nio, a Chinese company with R & D in America and Oxford are developing 100kw batteries with larger ranges. Their development is also looking at batteries that you can switch over in 3 1/2 minutes.
The concept is that you go to a "service station" with a depleted battery grab a coffee whilst a fresh battery set is swapped over and you are ready to go again. Sounds interesting.
